Disappearing Map

During and in the immediate aftermath of the 1948 war, about 418 So-called “abandoned” Palestinian villages within the new borders of the Jewish state were destroyed and 161 new Jewish settlements were established on these lands.11 As we shall see, from 1950 to 1967, another 185 Jewish colonies were established inside Israel (map 3 Look P. 52), thus pre-empting the possibility of significant numbers of Palestinians ever being able to return to their homes, in contravention of United Nations Security Council Resolution 181 of December 1948. This resolution had required Israel to permit the return of Palestinians to their land and property or to compensate those who did not wish to return – not to build an Israeli state on the ruins of destroyed Palestinian villages.12

I) The second phase beginning in 1948 is dedicated to the memory of the 418 Palestinian towns and villages destroyed by the Jewish State in 1949 and three more towns in 1967 (Yalu, Imwas, and Beit Nuba located in the Latroun Salient of the West  Bank) and the destruction of the Moroccan quarter in the Old City of Jerusalem to make way for the plaza in front of the Wailing Wall..

12) Khalidi, All That Remains.

“I plowed Palestine into earth by ordering the demolition of 300 abandoned Palestinian villages from the Negev to the Galilee. Over their ruins 500 Jewish moshavim and kibbutzim were established”

He further acknowledges that he leveled them joyfully.

2) An Israeli historian Adam Raz published recently a book under the title “theft of Arab properties in the war of independence in 1948” He describes in detail how the Jews raided Arab homes, shops, stores, factories, and farms left behind by the terrorized Palestinians. He adds all segments of the Jewish public and military participated in the shameless looting of furniture, carpets, utensils, machinery, and everything valuable in the cities of Tiberias, Safed, Haifa, Jaffa, and West Jerusalem.

David Ben Gurion said in anger in July 1948 “Most of the Jews are thieves”

The purpose of this calculated greatest destruction and theft of movable and immovable properties of the twentieth century is to make sure that the Palestinians will not return to their previous land and country as there will be nothing to return to.

The complete eradication of the Palestinian communities in 1948 is one of the major crimes of the twentieth century. This crime committed by the Jewish State after its declaration should not pass without acknowledgment, apology, and reparations, Not only the Palestinian nation was liquidated but also their cultural heritage. The antiquities of many civilizations from the Jebusites, to the Canaanites, Greek, Roman , Byzantine, crusader, and finally Moslem were also destroyed forever,

In fact, the Jewish State is built over destroyed Palestine. The Palestinian people paid the price of the Holocaust through the destruction of their country. The Palestinians are the last victims of Hitler.
